Cosmetic Tattoo / Saline Tattoo Removal Aftercare
Cosmetic Tattoo Aftercare Instructions
Brows • Lips • Eyeliner • Saline Tattoo Removal
After your appointment, it’s crucial to follow the correct aftercare routine to achieve the best possible results. Please remember:
🔹 20% of your result depends on the clinic treatment, while 80% depends on your at-home aftercare.
Brow Tattoo
Day 1:
Always wash hands before touching your brows.
Every 2–3 hours, gently wipe your brows with a clean baby wipe or damp cotton pad.
Pat dry and apply a rice grain-sized amount of aftercare cream to each brow.
Day 2–14:
Clean and moisturise morning and night following the same method.
Expect brows to appear darkest during Days 1–3, then gradually become dry, flaky, and patchy.
Do not pick or scratch—this may remove pigment and cause uneven healing.
Brows may appear faded or uneven during healing; this is normal. The colour typically fades 30–50% and begins to reappear in the following weeks.
Avoid for 2 weeks:
Swimming, saunas, steam rooms, sun exposure
Sweating or intense exercise
Makeup, moisturiser, or cleanser directly on brows
Light activity is fine; avoid sweating into the area.
Lip Blush
To ensure the best healing and long-lasting results, please follow these aftercare steps:
Day 1 (Immediately After Treatment):
• Gently blot your lips with a clean tissue every 2–3 hours to remove excess lymph fluid.
• Do not apply anything for the first few hours.
• After 3–4 hours, apply a very thin layer of the provided aftercare ointment using clean fingers or a cotton tip.
Day 2–10:
• Apply a thin layer of ointment 2–3 times or more a day — do not let lips dry out.
• Expect some dryness, tightness, flaking, and mild sensitivity.
• Do not pick or peel — let any dry skin naturally shed.
• Avoid spicy food, hot drinks, and kissing for at least 48 hours.
• Drink with a straw and pat lips clean after eating.
• Avoid makeup, active skincare, or toothpaste contact on the lips.
Avoid for 14 Days:
• Sun exposure or tanning
• Swimming, steam rooms, saunas
• Smoking (can delay healing)
• Exfoliants or harsh treatments
• Laser or chemical treatments near the lips
Eyeliner Tattooing
Days 1–3:
Expect swelling, redness, and sensitivity. This is a natural response.
Keep the area clean and dry—no makeup or skincare.
Avoid contact lenses on the day of treatment.
Days 4–14:
Eyeliner may flake, fade, or appear uneven. Up to 80% of pigment may seem to fade, then gradually reappear.
Do not rub, pick, or apply mascara during this phase.
Avoid for 2 weeks:
Eye makeup, lash serums, lash extensions or lifts
Swimming, saunas, steam, sun exposure
Avoid water pressure directly on the area when showering.
Saline Tattoo Removal
Immediately After:
Area may appear red and slightly bloody—this is normal due to the skin’s coagulation response.
Gently dab away excess fluid from the edges with an alcohol wipe (do not rub).
Leave the area uncovered—air exposure is necessary to form proper scabs.
First 3 Hours:
Blot the area with clean cotton pads every hour to manage fluids.
Ongoing Care (Until Scabs Shed Naturally):
Keep the area completely dry.
If the area accidentally gets wet, let it air dry—never rub or soak.
No creams or ointments until scabs have shed naturally.
Once scabs are gone, apply the provided Healing Cream 1–2 times daily.
Avoid hot showers or direct shower pressure on the area for 14 days.
Do not touch unless absolutely necessary—always wash hands first.
Itching is normal—do not scratch. This could result in scarring or poor removal results.
Avoid for 10–14 days:
Exercise (sweat contains salt, which interferes with healing)
Sleeping on your side or face—try to sleep on your back
Dirty pillowcases (use a fresh one)
Makeup, moisturiser, or cleanser on the treated area
Sun exposure or tanning for at least 3 weeks
Anti-aging skincare or active ingredients on the treated area for 3 weeks
Once all scabs are gone:
You may cleanse the area normally and begin applying sunscreen daily.
Do not pick scabs—even slight picking can dramatically affect the result and cause extended redness or skin trauma.
Touch-Up & Healing Information
A touch-up ($150) is essential at 4–6 weeks to perfect the shape and colour.
Additional touch-ups ($99) may be needed depending on your skin type, lifestyle, or previous work.
Final results cannot be guaranteed, as skin healing varies for every individual.
